2 Things

Is it better to quickly take the simple route and get so-so results, or is it better to take the more complex way to do things, and put time into it, and maybe get a better result, or possibly nothing?
And I’m not talking about school or anything. D:
I’m thinking the simple route is the way to go, there’s a much better chance at success when I have limited options, but the complex way and its possible rewards are just so alluring.
It’s like playing blackjack, as soon as you’re dealt the cards, you have a chance of winning. The higher you get, the more you have a chance of winning. But as soon as you think you’re set, the fucking face card comes and busts you, throwing any chance of winning into a wood chipper.
Leaving the metaphor, I’m back to having no fucking clue what to do.
